I have a Intellex DVMS in a retail grocery store with 14 cameras and the DVR has no storage files and is not recording any images.

First off, welcome to our forum.
The above description on the Intellex problem could be caused by different reasons software and hardware...
If you are able to still run your Intellex and observe live video, chances are very good that your storage drive either is completely damages or corrupted, thus it does not allow storage of any video.
One way to determine if your storage drive is still available is to exit Intellex, go to the desktop and visit "My Computer" to check how many drives it shows and what are the drive numbers... If you see drive numbers check if there are anything on them.
Another way to check if Intellex is recognizing storage drive is through Intellex Setup feature and go to Storage section. If Intellex has a storage drive available, it will identify by the drive number.
I can not tell right now where the problem is, but with some more info from your end could help to nail this problem down.
