Swann Security Partners with Crimestoppers
Swann Security® has announced it is teaming up with the UK crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers. In an effort to support communities across the UK, Swann Security will support the independent charity in their vision to fight crime.
Crimestoppers is an independent charity dedicated to solving crimes and taking criminals off the streets. Around 17 people are arrested and charged every day as a result of information given to Crimestoppers. One person every 5 days is charged with murder, as a result of information given to Crimestoppers.
Since Crimestoppers began in 1988, it has received almost 950,000 calls with useful information, resulting in over 80,000 arrests and charges. Over £100 million worth of property has been recovered and over £145 million worth of drugs.
“Swann’s goals of providing safety for communities mimics that of Crimestoppers, creating an ideal partnership,” stated Faz Colbhie, Swann Security’s UK Channel Manager. “Having contributed to crime reduction in other parts of the world, Swann is very excited to further that cause in working in partnership with the UK’s most renowned crime prevention charity.”
